The idea of getting yourself a game on Apple’s smartwatch is ridiculous at first because it’s not an iPhone or an iPad that has a large screen which gives way to more gaming possibilities and experience. But think differently, it might not be the same as if you are playing of the bigger device, but it doesn’t necessary limits the possibilities, rather the other way around, it opens the new ones.
It’s actually great to have something entertaining on your smartwatch, for example, if your iPhone is dead. It’s just the kind of backup you never knew you needed. Let us elaborate on this round-up and give you some insights into the top 5 games for Apple Watch available right now.
Top 5 Games for Apple Watch
It’s the kind of game that claims to train your brain, triggering your reaction and attention, helping improve both of the processes in your brain in the long run. However, whether it actually works is unknown to the public, but this doesn’t make the game worse, because it’s just amusing to play it. The app goes like this. Different numbers appear on the screen and you have to aim for the bigger number, but not the font size. This is where things get tricky, sometimes smaller numbers appear on screen but they have a much bigger font, so you can accidentally tap on the wrong one. And it’s not as easy as you’d think. Same goes for coloured words. You have to choose a certain color of the word, but then, for example, a word “orange” can pop up which is highlighted in yellow. Crazy, right? Just try it for yourself and see how far you get!
2. Bubblegum Hero
This is the most straightforward game out there. You just have to hold the finger to make the guy on the screen blow a bubble, and then release the finger once it gets to one of the two circles around that guy. The more accurate you’ll get to the border of the circle, the more points you get. But you don’t have to overdo the bubble, because it will explode all over the poor guy’s face and you’ll be left with zero score.
3. Alien Invasion
It’s a retro-styled game that kids from the early nines would appreciate the most. As with all Apple Watch games the rules are pretty simple here, just remember the old Nintendo play manner and you’ll be alright. Here you have to move your UFO with a finger while rushing through space and collect aliens from their unfortunate invasion attempt along the way. Make sure you don’t miss any of them, you have to be precise and act fast to get them all on board!
4. Twisty Color
It almost looks like your good old arcade game but with a modern twist to it. Here you just need to rotate the Digital Crown that is painted in three different colors (pink, blue, yellow) on its sides and wait till the ball of similar color appears. Then you rotate the Crown in the right direction so the ball collides with the right color border of your crown. You have only three lives to waist there.
5. Tiny Armies
This game is a fast-paced strategy that can be played on your Apple Watch without much limitations to it. You have to conquer the enemies by locating your units with swipes on the field. The map has different icons that stand for terrains (mountains, lakes, and forests), so you can level up your strategy plan better by using those add-ons.
You can play the game solo, face-to-face with your friends or with anyone from around the world through iMessage. Buy the app for only $1.
